What Specialist Biting Insect Treatment Includes
Biting insects require a comprehensive "life-cycle" approach to ensure eggs, larvae, and adults are all eradicated.
Everyday fixes for biting insects
These treatments provide immediate relief from bites and stop the spread between rooms.
Before the list: Professional treatments reach deep into carpets and furniture where vacuuming can't.
Residual Insecticidal Spraying: Long-lasting treatments applied to floorboards and frames.
Growth Regulator Application: Disrupting the insect life cycle so they cannot reproduce.
Steam & Heat Treatments: Using high temperatures to kill eggs on contact.
Activity Mapping: Identifying exactly which rooms are affected to prevent over-treatment.
Light maintenance and aftercare
Once the treatment is done, these steps ensure your home stays a "no-bite" zone.
Before the list: Proper preparation and aftercare are 50% of a successful treatment.
Furniture & Mattress Deep-Clean: Removing debris and allergens left behind by the infestation.
Linen & Fabric Advice: Guided protocols for washing and sealing affected clothing.
Post-Treatment Safety Checks: Ensuring the environment is 100% safe for pets and kids.
Entry Point Proofing: Checking for external flea sources (like wildlife in the garden).
“We don’t just clear the room; we clear the life cycle.”
Do I need to throw away my mattress?
Rarely. With our professional steam and chemical treatments, most mattresses can be saved and safely used after a thorough cleaning.
How should I prepare for treatment?
We ask you to strip bedding and wash it at 60°C, clear floor areas, and vacuum thoroughly. We will provide a detailed prep sheet before our visit.
Why am I still seeing them after the first visit?
This is normal. Professional treatments are designed to be residual; pests must emerge from hiding and cross the treated zones to be eliminated.
Are your flea treatments safe for my cat/dog?
Yes, but pets must be out of the house during the application and for 4 hours afterward. Your pets should also be treated with a vet-approved flea product simultaneously.
Can I sleep in my bed the same night?
Yes, once the treated areas are completely dry (usually 4–6 hours after treatment), it is safe to return and sleep in the room.
